Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath yesterday briefed Colombo-based members of the Diplomatic Corps at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on current developments in Sri Lanka, calling for recognition of the progress achieved and urging partners to engage in constructive dialogue.
The session, attended by senior officials from the Justice and National Integration Ministry, the Attorney General’s Department, the Office on Missing Persons (OMP), the Office for Reparations (OR), the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR), and the Office for Overseas Sri Lankans, highlighted key reforms and ongoing national initiatives.
Minister Herath stressed the Government’s commitment to addressing long-standing issues, while deepening engagement with the international community to build trust and cooperation.
