A Reuters Ipsos poll has found only that one in four respondents approve of the US–Israel attacks on Iran.
Some 43% of respondents said they disapproved of the war, and another 29% said they were unsure.
Approval among Republicans was stronger, but not resounding, with 55% saying they approved of the US–Israel strikes,13% disapproved, and 32% were unsure.
Most significantly, about 42% of Republicans said they would be less likely to support the operation if it led to “US troops in the Middle East being killed or injured”.
