FM Vijitha Herath meets Indian FM Dr. Jaishankar in Oman

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held a meeting with Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath yesterday on the sidelines of the 8th Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) in Muscat, Oman.

“A productive interaction with FM Vijitha Herath on sidelines of 8th Indian Ocean Conference,” Dr. Jaishankar posted on ‘X’.

“Took stock of our wide-ranging cooperation. Committed to the economic recovery and progress of Sri Lanka,” he added.

The 8th IOC is being held in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman, under the theme ‘Voyage to New Horizons of Maritime Partnership.’
