The Election Commission yesterday said it had received 2084 election complaints, with one incident of violence since campaigning began, with the majority coming from District complaint management centres.
As of yesterday 588, complaints of election law violations were reported to the National Elections Complaints Management Centre, while 1495 were received by the District Election Complaints Management Centres. The one incident of election-related violence was also reported to the District level office. On Monday 121 complaints were filed with 14 at National and 107 at District level.
