Daily vaccination numbers drop to 16,752

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to only 16,752 persons on Tuesday and the Epidemiology Unit states that first dose coverage in the country is 77.12%.

The second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 64.68% of the population and the third dose has been administered to 32.82% of the population.

Vaccination coverage among the population over the age of 12 is 95.8% for the first dose and 80.3% for the second dose. Among the population over 20 years, 95.5% have received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 49.23% have received the third dose.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 79.2% of the population aged 16 to 19 years has been vaccinated.

In total, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,904,417 persons and the second dose has been administered to 14,180,650 persons.

The third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 7,208,529 persons. This includes 13,447 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the first dose of Pfizer was administered to 540 persons and a total of 2,438,958 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer to date. The second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 722,892 persons, of which 1,614 were vaccinated on Tuesday.

The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 402 persons on Tuesday and the second dose was administered to 749 persons. A total of 12,021,917 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,095,992 persons have received the second dose as well.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

A total of 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
