The Colombo High Court yesterday directed that the case against Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and his grandmother Daisy Forrest be recalled on 15 October.
Both appeared before Court when the matter was taken up. The Attorney General has filed indictments under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, alleging that the two unlawfully amassed assets valued at about Rs. 73 million.
The Court set the next date for hearing following submissions.
