COVID-19 vaccines administered to 23,463 persons

Epidemiology Unit data shows that 23,463 persons were vaccinated against COVID-19 on Wednesday, with first dose coverage in the country rising to 78.25%.

According to Our World in Data, 65.33% of the population has received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. The Epidemiology Unit states that 27.94% of the total population has received the third dose as well.

In total, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,824,201 persons and the second dose has been administered to 14,047,994 persons.

The third dose has been administered to 6,239,597 persons. This includes 18,535 persons vaccinated on Wednesday. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is being administered as the booster dose in the country.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 862 persons on Wednesday and 1,485 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 2,376,615 persons and the second dose has been administered to 621,974 persons.

On Wednesday, 1,137 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 1,444 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. A total of 12,004,044 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,064,254 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
