Fifty-five COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday raised the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 12,786.

The deaths confirmed on Monday include 39 persons over the age of 60 and 16 persons in the 30 to 59 age category. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.46% of the total fatalities belong to the over-60 age category, 22.38% fatalities belong to the 30 to 59 age category, and 1.16% fatalities belong to the under-30 age category.

Of the total fatalities, 7,142 are male and 5,644 are female. Twenty-nine COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were male and 26 were female.
