CEB Chairman tenders resignation

Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Chairman M.M.C. Ferdinando has given notice of his resignation.

In this letter of resignation, the Chairman of the Electricity Board informs President Gotabaya Rajapaksa that he will resign from his post with effect from 1 February due to a personal reason.

An officer in the Public Administration Service, Ferdinando previously held key positions in a number of Government agencies.
