Ballot papers distribution to begin on 16 April: EC

The Election Commission (EC) announced that the distribution of official ballot papers for the upcoming Local Government (LG) polls will commence on 16 April.

The EC further stated that the two Sundays, 20 and 27 April, will be designated as special days for distributing the ballot papers, with the process continuing till 29 April.Accordingly, the EC is scheduled to hand over the official ballot papers to the Department of Posts on 16 April for distribution purposes. The EC also stated that postal ballot papers for the LG Elections will be delivered to the Post Offices on 7 April.

These activities are scheduled to be carried out under special Police security.
