76,994 persons receive COVID-19 vaccine

Epidemiology Unit data shows that COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 76,994 persons on Tuesday, with second dose coverage among the country’s population over 20 years rising to 94.8%.

As of 18 January, 32.9% of the population over 20 had received the booster dose.

According to Our World in Data, 75.4% of the country’s total population has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 64.54% of the population has received the second dose as well.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 16,250,671 persons have received the first vaccine dose and 13,875,938 persons have received the second dose. The booster dose has been administered to 4,801,718 persons. On Tuesday, 33,667 persons received the booster dose.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 41,237 persons on Tuesday, raising the total number of persons to have received the first dose of the vaccine to 1,822,441. The second dose of Pfizer has been administered to 485,380 persons, including 557 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, 417 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm, and 1,116 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to a total of 11,984,688 persons and the second dose has been administered to 11,028,792 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca, and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

A total of 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna, and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons, and the second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 155,812 persons.
