69,573 persons vaccinated on Wednesday

The Epidemiology Unit in its COVID-19 immunisation report stated that 69,573 persons received either the first dose of the Sinopharm or Sputnik V vaccine or the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on Wednesday.

According to the report, 1,681 persons received the second dose of AstraZeneca, bringing the total number of persons to receive the second dose of the vaccine to 350,163. A total of 925,242 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine. The first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine was administered to 18,514 persons on Wednesday, bringing the total number of persons to receive the vaccine to 62,703.

On Wednesday, 49,378 persons received the first dose of the Sinopahrm COVID-19 vaccine, which a total of 846,583 persons have received to date.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 1,834,528 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 352,598 persons have received the second dose to date.
