65,561 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

A total of 65,561 persons were vaccinated through the country’s COVID-19 immunisation program on Tuesday.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 31,742 persons received the booster dose on Tuesday. A total of 4,988,363 persons have received the booster dose to date and booster dose coverage among the population over 20 years is 33.9%.

Of the country’s total population, 76.59% has received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 64.6% has received the second dose.

The Epidemiology Unit states that the first vaccine dose has been administered to 16,497,745 persons and the second dose has been administered to 13,888,605 persons.

On Tuesday, 31,405 persons received the first dose of Pfizer and 1,033 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 2,066,281 persons and the second dose has been administered to 490,532 persons.

The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 346 persons on Tuesday and 1,035 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to a total of 11,987,922 persons and the second dose has been administered to 11,036,307 persons.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of Moderna.

The first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,110 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,812 persons.
