50,044 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 50,044 persons on Monday and 74.47% of the country’s population has received at least one vaccine dose to date.

Our World in Data states that the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 64.48% of the population.

As of 9 December, 29.7% of the population over 20 years had received the booster dose as well.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 16,020,257 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 13,862,165 persons have received the second dose.

The booster dose has been administered to 4,373,968 persons. This includes 37,576 persons vaccinated on Monday. The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 431 persons on Monday and 1,170 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. A total of 11,979,306 persons have received the first dose of Sinopharm and 11,017,868 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

On Monday, 10,677 persons received the first dose of Pfizer and 190 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 1,597,409 persons and the second dose has been administered to 482,531 persons.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,631 persons and the second dose has been administered to 1,418,593 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 804,801 persons have received the first dose of Moderna and 787,361 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

A total of 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose as well.
