44,908 persons vaccinated against COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 44,908 persons on Monday and the Pfizer and Sinopharm vaccines are currently being administered in the country.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, the booster dose was administered to 33,724 persons on Monday. A total of 7,193,381 persons have received the third dose to date. The Pfizer vaccine is being used to administer the booster dose.

The first dose of Pfizer was administered to 2,964 persons on Monday and the second dose was administered to 5,015 persons. In total, 2,438,958 persons have received the first dose of Pfizer and 721,032 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 1,230 persons on Monday, raising the total number of persons to have received the first dose of Sinopharm to 12,021,464. The second dose of the vaccine has been administered to 11,095,137 persons. This includes 1,975 persons vaccinated on Monday.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 1,479,631 persons have received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 1,418,593 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of Moderna has been administered to 804,801 persons and the second dose has been administered to 787,361 persons.

A total of 159,110 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 155,812 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.

The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 16,903,964 persons and the second dose has been administered to 14,177,935 persons.
