429,515 persons vaccinated against COVID-19 on Tuesday

The country’s COVID-19 immunisation program has administered the first dose of vaccine to 12,952,755 persons and the second dose to 9,714,857 persons to date, which includes 429,515 persons vaccinated on Tuesday.

A total of 126,727 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 278,788 persons received the second jab of the same vaccine on Tuesday. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered 10,236,403 persons, while 7,840,922 persons received the second dose of the Sinopharm. 

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,405,149 persons and the second dose has been administered to 887,724 persons. This includes persons vaccinated on Tuesday, when 2,373 persons received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 332 persons received the second dose. 

A total of 30 persons received the first dose of Moderna on Tuesday, raising the total number of persons to receive the first dose of the vaccine to 772,426, whilst 706,165 persons have received the second dose as well.

The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 834 persons and 19,956 persons received the second dose. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to a total of 377,217 persons and the second dose to 236,264 persons.

The second dose of Sputnik V was administered to 375 persons on Tuesday, raising the number of persons to receive the second dose of the vaccine to 43,450. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 159,088 persons.
