42,496 persons receive COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday

The COVID-19 immunisation program in the country vaccinated 42,496 persons on Saturday, bringing the country’s fully vaccinated population to 806,252.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 2,455,180 persons.

On Saturday, 9,577 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 16,534 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose has been administered to 1,434,468 persons and the second dose to 434,083 persons.

The first dose of Sputnik V was administered to 13,775 persons on Saturday and a total of 95,470 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine. The Epidemiology Unit states that 14,301 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine, including 2,610 persons vaccinated on Saturday.

While zero AstraZeneca vaccines were administered on Saturday, 925,242 persons have received the first dose and 357,868 persons have received the second dose of the vaccine.
