26,453 persons vaccinated on Sunday

A total of 26,453 persons have been vaccinated under the country’s ongoing COVID-19 immunisation program on Sunday, according to the Epidemiology Unit.

Persons vaccinated on Sunday include 2,644 persons who received the first dose of Sinopharm and 8,574 persons who received the second dose of Sinopharm. In total, the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 1,437,112 persons and the second dose has been administered to 442,657 persons.

The first dose of Sputnik V was administered to 14,983 persons on Sunday, bringing the number of persons to receive the first dose of the vaccine in the country to 110,453. The Epidemiology Unit stated that 14,301 persons have received the second dose as well.

On Sunday, 252 persons received the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine. At present, 925,242 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine and 372,158 persons have received the second dose.

In total, 2,472,807 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 829,116 persons have received the second dose as well.
