24 COVID-19 fatalities raise total to 14,182

Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll rose to 14,182 after health officials confirmed 24 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday.

Twenty COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were over 60 years and four were between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.52% of the COVID-19 fatalities confirmed to date are over 60 years, while 22.3% are between 30 and 59 years and 1.18% are below 30 years.

Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 7,933 are male and 6,249 are female. Fifteen COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were male and nine were female.
