Health authorities yesterday confirmed 20 more persons succumbed to COVID-19 on Wednesday, raising the country’s death toll to 13,674.

As per the Department of Government Information, 11 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were male and nine were female. 

Epidemiology Unit data shows that 7,630 of the fatalities are male and 6,024 fatalities are female. It also said that 76.52% of the total fatalities were over the age of 60, 22.30% were aged between 30 and 59 years, and 1.18% were below the age of 30.
