17 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 17 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,330.

The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday include 14 persons over 60 years and three persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.22% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.56% of the fatalities are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.21% of the fatalities are below 30 years.

12 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Monday were male and five were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,615 are male and 6,715 are female.
