14 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 14 COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,086.

The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday include 11 persons over 60 years and three persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed form the under-30 age group, from which 1.17% of the total COVID-19 deaths have been confirmed.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.56% of the COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years and 22.27% of the COVID-19 deaths are between 30 and 59 years.

Eleven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male and three were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 7,872 are male and 6,214 are female.
