139,472 persons vaccinated against COVID-19 on Thursday

COVID-19 vaccines were administered to 139,472 persons on Thursday and a total of 13,356,566 persons have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to date.

The first dose of a vaccine has been administered to 15,376,578 persons and the Epidemiology Unit states that 91.4% of the country’s population over the age of 20 has received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

According to Our World in Data, 71% of the country’s population has received the first dose of a vaccine and 61.96% has received the second dose as well.

On Thursday, 101,368 persons received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and 726 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 1,046,337 persons and 436,538 persons have received the second dose of Pfizer.

The first dose of Sinopharm has been administered to 11,888,461 persons, of which 10,596,557 persons have received the second dose as well. On Thursday, the first dose of Sinopharm was administered to 2,920 persons and the second dose was administered to 28,781 persons.

The second dose of Moderna was administered to 3,594 persons on Thursday, raising the number of persons to have received both doses of Moderna to 775,301. The first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 803,098 persons.

The first dose of AstraZeneca has been administered to 1,479,575 persons, of which 1,392,514 persons have received the second dose as well. On Thursday, 2,076 persons received the second dose of AstraZeneca.

Six persons received the first dose of Sputnik V on Thursday and one person received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose of Sputnik V has been administered to 159,107 persons and the second dose has been administered to 155,656 persons.
