132 COVID-19 deaths raise total fatalities to 11,699

Health officials confirmed 132 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday which raised the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 11,699.

The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Tuesday include 101 persons over the age of 60, 28 persons in the 30-59 age group, and three persons below the age of 30. Of the total fatalities, 76.46% belongs to the over 60 age category, 22.39% belongs to the 30-59 age category, and 1.15% belongs to the below 30 age category.

Epidemiology Unit data shows that 6,562 of the total fatalities are male and 5,137 are female. Of the COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Tuesday, 66 were male and 66 were female.
