12 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed 12 COVID-19 fatalities on Wednesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,255.

The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday include nine persons over 60 years, two persons between 30 and 59 years and one person below 30 years age group.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.28% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.53% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.9% are below 30 years.

Eight COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Wednesday were male and four were female. Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 8,556 are male and 6,687 are female.
