106,998 persons vaccinated against COVID-19 on Tuesday

Over 106,000 persons were vaccinated through the COVID-19 immunisation program on Tuesday, bringing the number of fully vaccinated persons in the country to 995,325.

The first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has now been administered to 2,697,778 persons.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, the second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine was administered to 1,744 persons on Tuesday, with a total of 375,784 persons having received the second dose of the vaccine to date. The first dose has been administered to 925,242 persons.

On Tuesday, 61,255 persons received the first dose of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine and 43,999 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. In total, the first dose has been administered to 1,657,741 persons and the second dose to 605,116 persons.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 114,795 persons have received the first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine and 14,425 persons have received both doses of the vaccine.
