“The Path of Freedom” book launch tomorrow

An event to mark the launch of the book “The Path of Freedom: Dismantling the Imperialist Debt Trap,” (de dollarization) will be held held tomorrow (29) at 3:30 p.m. at the Lavander Hall – BMICH.

The book, the latest by the author, Gayantha Dehiwatte, a graduate of Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, is an entrepreneur, Political Economic Analyst, and author of the book ‘Wikalpa Maga’, explores issues of economic sovereignty and the use of alternative currencies, such as the Chinese Yuan, for trade settlements and cross-border payments in order to reduce reliance on IMF-imposed conditions and avoid dependence on US dollar-denominated debt.

Several members of the Diplomatic Corp in Colombo and Academia have been invited as guest. Members of the Press are encouraged to attend the launch.
