Toyota Lanka Ltd., has strengthened its certified mobility footprint with the expansion of its Toyota SURE concept and the integration of its multi-brand offering, Toyotsu Auto RUSH, under a unified customer experience platform.

Introduced in 2019 at the Wattala branch, Toyota SURE was designed to offer carefully selected, inspected and fully certified Japan Domestic (JDM) Toyota vehicles, reinforcing Toyota Lanka’s commitment to providing reliable and trustworthy vehicle ownership solutions. The second dedicated showroom was subsequently opened in Ratmalana, further enhancing access to certified JDM Toyota vehicles.

Marking the third phase of its expansion, Toyota Lanka has now extended Toyota SURE Certified Japan Domestic Vehicle offerings to its Kandy facility in Ambatenne, bringing greater assurance and convenience to customers in the Central Province.

Complementing Toyota SURE is Toyotsu Auto RUSH, the flagship multi-brand mobility solution operated by Toyotsu Lanka Ltd., a subsidiary of Toyota Lanka. The platform caters to a broader customer base seeking quality multi-brand vehicles backed by warranty coverage and after-sales service guarantees.

Through a synthesised product augmentation strategy, Toyota Lanka now brings Toyota SURE and Toyotsu Auto RUSH under one roof, creating a comprehensive buying experience supported by genuine spare parts availability and islandwide after-sales services. The Group maintains a network of over 20 branches across Sri Lanka.

Vehicles offered at the Certified Mobility Facilities undergo an extensive evaluation process prior to release. This includes comprehensive pre-delivery inspections, verification of genuine mileage, confirmation of accident- and flood-free condition, proper valuation and settlement of all applicable taxes. Toyota SURE vehicles are further supported through specified warranty terms and manufacturer recall assistance services facilitated exclusively by the authorized distributor, ensuring confidence from the outset of ownership.

Toyota Lanka Ltd Managing Director and CEO Manohara Athukorala stated that trust, quality and reliability must be embedded at every stage of the ownership journey. He noted that the Group’s “Mobility for All” vision reflects its commitment to catering to diverse customer needs by offering both Toyota and multi-brand vehicle options backed by certified peace of mind and long-term support, including Pit and Drive services by Toyotsu Lanka.

Athukorala also emphasised that the Group’s LIFE philosophy—Loyalty, Integrity, Fairness and Ethics—guides its decision-making and customer interactions, underscoring a focus on enduring relationships built on transparency rather than short-term transactions.

The opening ceremonies of the Ratmalana and Kandy facilities were attended by senior representatives from Toyota Tsusho Asia Pacific, including General Manager Hiroshi Yoshihashi and Mobility Division Group Leader Jerryco Nordan, along with Toyota Lanka Head of Value Chain and Mobility Solutions Naotaka Takeda, members of the top management, long-standing partners and key stakeholders.

The expansion of the Certified Mobility Facilities reflects Toyota Lanka Group’s continued efforts to make trusted mobility solutions accessible to both individual and corporate customers nationwide.
