HNB joins hands with Associated Motorways for exclusive offers on New Holland tractors

Sri Lanka’s premier private sector bank HNB PLC recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AMW Ltd. to offer exclusive leasing packages with attractive interest rates and benefits on New Holland tractors.

The exclusive partnership enables customers to access an extensive range of discounted offers and benefits from AMW and HNB. A special ceremony was held at HNB Towers to sign the MoU in the presence of HNB Head of Personal Financial Services Kanchana Karunagama and AMW Managing Director Peter Mackenzie. 

“We’ve understood the level of support that the agricultural sector needs during these times of uncertainty and economic downturn. This initiative comes as a reassurance from HNB and AMW that our support towards the sector’s and the economy’s growth continues,” HNB Head of Personal Financial Services Kanchana Karunagama said. 

The partnership offers HNB customers low-interest rates and exciting discounts for vehicle insurance premiums from HNB General Insurance. Additionally, HNB will offer a free life insurance cover of Rs. 4.5 million for accidental deaths, and HNB Assurance will provide Rs. 600,000 natural death insurance cover. Customers will also have access to a range of exclusive discounts through the Prestige Prime credit card, for which the bank will waive off the first-year annual fee.  

“As a pioneer in the local automotive sector, AMW is excited to partner with HNB on such an impactful initiative. We believe that this joint measure comes as a relief and a concession to many in the agricultural sector, and we look forward to taking our strategy to the next phase,” shares AMW Managing Director Peter Mackenzie. 

The local automotive giant AMW offers free vehicle registration for customers who purchase New Holland tractor under HNB’s leasing facility. The benefits range from post-warranty repairs done at the customer’s doorstep to labour-cost free services. 

AMW will also provide a 25% discount on genuine spare parts and standard labour rates for the replacements and repairs. This exclusive partnership will handle all the repairs and replacements at HNB vehicle yards.
