DPMC rolls out US brand Atlas four-wheel tyres

David Pieris Motor Company Ltd. (DPMC) has ventured into the four-wheeler tyre segment recently with the introduction of America’s iconic Atlas Brand Passenger Car Radials (PCR)/Truck and Bus Radials (TBR). 

As an enduring American brand, Atlas has been riding on USA roads since 1935 and is synonymous with quality, endurance, and dependability. It is also a renowned and respected name throughout South East Asia.  The Atlas tyres marketed in Sri Lanka are manufactured in Thailand by one of the largest tyre manufacturers in the world and has passed all US DOT, European ECE, and CCC Certification. 

ATLAS offers ultra-modern patterns and are designed, owned, and audited by former tier-1 tyre engineers using its own compound formula to provide longer tread life with a balanced footprint for even wear.  Atlas will be available through DPMC Spare Parts Outlets, dealers and tyre retailers island-wide.

Commenting on the Atlas tyre launch in Sri Lanka, DPMC Assistant General Manager (Parts & Accessories) Udith Wijetunge said: “We are proud to launch a tyre that stood the test of time in Sri Lanka.
