The tilt and telescopic steering, height adjustable seating, adjustable head rests, rear air conditioning vents with in-built rear arm rest and cup holders, individually trained cabin LED lights all contribute towards the maximised comfort levels of the Sylphy.
For the family oriented individual, the space factor will definitely be a plus point. The spacious trunk is deeper and wider than before and is capable of holding three large suitcases – which makes it an ideal vehicle for the family to travel in.
Appearances aside, the performance of the vehicle also promises great things. Nissan’s Xtronic CVT – Continuously Variable Transmission is responsible for a smoother shifting of gears that virtually cannot be felt by passengers or the driver. The use of a sub planetary gear and smaller pulleys results in higher fuel efficiency particularly at cruising speeds in addition to relatively noiseless transition. The improved and modified four cylinder engine has a longer stroke than usual which gives better combustion and efficiency.

ABS, EBD and brake assist together with, dual air bags, and many other such features all contribute to the safety features that are additional selling points for the new Sylphy.
The audio system features six speakers that are compact and fashioned into the rear window shape which allows for less obstruction when storing items at the back. The audio controls are also featured on the steering wheel and the antennas are embedded on the rear glass.
As agents of Nissan in Sri Lanka, Associated Motor ways Ltd. (AMW) has launched the 2013 Sylphy in a timely manner coinciding with the Colombo Motor Show.
