“Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning” movie in Lankan cinemas

Japanese anime adventure film “Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning” is being shown in three cinemas in Sri Lanka Colombo City Centre, PVR Cinema and Kandy City Centre.

Set in the same continuity of the first two Digimon television anime series, it is the sequel to Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna and serves as the series finale of the Digimon Adventure 02 story. The movie is produced by Toei Animation.

Two years after the battle against Eosmon, Davis Motomiya, Ken Ichijouji, Yolei Inoue, Cody Hida, T.K. Takaishi, and Kari Kamiya meet a boy named Rui Owada, who is found with a depowered Digivice and claims to be the first Digidestined ever. In addition, a Digimon named Ukkomon appears in the real world, who wants every person in the world to have their own Digimon partner.
