SDB bank clinches first-ever SLIM Digis award for Father’s Day campaign

SDB bank has announced its first win at the prestigious SLIM Digis 2.5 Awards, securing the Silver Award in the category of Best Use of Digital in Corporate Branding for its heartfelt Father’s Day campaign 2024, “Rahasin Ithirikala Adarayak”.

The campaign was designed to create brand awareness, strengthen loyalty, and establish a positive brand image, while also highlighting positive social messages around young entrepreneurship and SME empowerment. Produced by ViralPool Ltd., the initiative focused on deeper values and emotional connection, paying tribute to the quiet strength and enduring, unspoken love of fathers. It resonated strongly with audiences across Sri Lanka and reinforced SDB bank’s community-centric ethos.

Through innovative use of digital platforms, the campaign enhanced brand visibility, fostered meaningful engagement, and showcased the Bank’s evolving approach to emotionally resonant, purpose-driven communication in the digital age. It recorded strong YouTube viewership, high levels of social media interaction, and achieved a total reach of over 5 million across YouTube, Facebook, and third-party platforms.
