Two commemorative stamps released for Revo Advertising’s 8th anniversary

Two new stamps were issued recently in Colombo to mark the 8th anniversary of Revo - Revolution Advertising Ltd.

While one stamp carries the company logo and symbol of the 8th anniversary the other carries the portrait of the founder of Revo Advertising. Both these stamps issued by Sri Lanka Post are valid for using in Sri Lanka as well as overseas.

Revo Revolution Advertising Head/Creative Director Revo Pathum Weeramanthri said: “What is so special here is the fact that, so far as I know, this is the only occasion that an advertising company issued a commemorative stamp to mark its anniversary.”

“Though communication technology has developed tremendously, I thought of celebrating our anniversary with the sweet memory of the age-old letters and stamps in the postal service,” he added. According to Weeramanthri, 2023 was very special to Revo Revolution Advertising as it received three coveted awards.

“‘Making a revolution in your business is our business’ is our mission. All these awards and accolades are coming our way because of our dedication to our customers’ needs,” he said.

“Our objective is to open up new vistas and new paths of marketing and branding using the latest technology, rather than remaining as a mere Ads making company. We are determined to uplift our businesses and entrepreneurs to compete with internationally reputed brands and businesses,” Weeramanthri added.

He thanked the staff at Revo Advertising and customers and business partners for their support in this successful journey of eight years.

“I should be grateful to Chrishantha Jayasinghe (CJ) who gave me the opportunity to enter into the advertising industry sixteen years ago and all my advertising gurus including Suresh Muthukumar, Prageeth Prasanjaya, Nishantha Shanthadeva, Mahinda Jeewananda, Upali Herath and Wipula Sumanasekara,” said a grateful Weeramanthri.
