NDB tops banking sector at SLIM National Sales Awards 2023 with highest wins

Kasun Jayawardana, Praveen De Jacolyn, Hashini Basnayaka, Sanduni Maheshika, Oshada Nanayakkara, and Ashane Fernando 

NDB Bank has recently earned prestigious recognition at the SLIM National Sales Awards (NSA) 2023, held on 14 November. 

The bank clinched a total of six awards, which included two Gold Awards alongside a Silver, two Bronze, and one Merit Award at the ceremony. Notably, Kasun Jayawardana was honoured with the Gold Award for Best Regional Sales Manager, and Praveen De Jacolyn secured the Gold Award for Best Territory Manager.

The bank’s success extended across various categories, with a Silver Award bestowed upon Oshada Nanayakkara for Best Sales Executive, Sanduni Maheshika winning a Bronze Award for Best Sales Supervisor, and Hashini Basnayaka claiming the Bronze in the Best Front Liner Category. Additionally, a Merit Award in the Best Territory Manager category was awarded to Ashane Fernando. Expressing his pride, NDB Senior Vice President of Personal Banking and Customer Experience Sanjaya Perera commended the professionalism and excellence exhibited by NDB’s sales team. He emphasised that these awards underscore the bank’s commitment to instilling trust and confidence in customers through dedication and professionalism. Similarly, NDB Sales Assistant Vice President Sameera Senarath highlighted the bank’s continuous support for professional growth, particularly among the young and independent members of the sales team. Senarath congratulated the winners for embodying NDB’s core values and showcasing their dedication, hard work, and commitment to delivering top-notch services.
