The Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL) is thrilled to announce the new Executive Committee for the term 2023/2024, along with the reappointment of Umair Wolid as President. This momentous occasion signals a pivotal juncture as DMASL gears up for a transformative year, placing a paramount emphasis on cultivating partnerships with governmental bodies to propel Sri Lanka’s economy through cutting-edge digital marketing strategies and technologies.

The standout achievement of the previous year was DMASL’s successful hosting of Sri Lanka’s first international-led digital marketing summit. This ground-breaking event not only underscored its commitment to positioning Sri Lanka as a global hub for digital marketing but also included the initiation of policy-level discussions with governmental institutions, solidifying its dedication to uplifting the digital marketing industry.

In a further strategic move to broaden its reach and bring more enthusiasts into the fold, DMASL has appointed a Steering Committee (SteerCo). Comprising 16 seasoned digital marketing professionals, the SteerCo is geared towards gathering individuals keen to join the association. Their expertise and insights will play a vital role in expanding the association’s membership base, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation in the digital marketing community.

“I am honoured and excited to lead DMASL for another term. The accomplishments of the past year, particularly the success of our international-led summit and the initiation of partnerships with Government officials, have positioned us as a trailblazer in the digital marketing space. In the coming year, we are keen on furthering our collaboration with the Government to create an environment conducive to the growth and innovation of our industry.” DMASL President Umair Wolid stated.

As DMASL enters this new chapter, it remains committed to advancing the digital marketing community in Sri Lanka and fostering connections that drive innovation and excellence.
