The Management Club (TMC), established in February 2002, marks its inception at the prestigious Galle Face Hotel, under the esteemed patronage of the British High Commissioner Linda Duffield, who also served as the Patron of the Chartered Management Institute UK, Sri Lanka Branch.

TMC, an initiative of the Chartered Management Institute UK, Sri Lanka Branch, boasted an Executive Committee comprised of esteemed individuals such as M. V. Theagarajha, Tilak De Zoysa, Tissa Bandaranayake, Sega Nagendra, Sunil Deheragoda, Ajit De Silva, Shevanthi Jayasuriya, S. Skandakumar, Gamini Karunaratne, Col Faiz ur Rahman and Anil Weeratunga, among others. Notably, TMC Founder and Chartered Management Institute UK, Sri Lanka Branch (1999-2001) former President Fayaz Saleem played a pivotal role in its establishment.

Saleem’s profound understanding of the professional landscape led to the conception of TMC, aiming to create a platform where young managers from diverse backgrounds could converge, fostering interactions beyond their respective disciplines. This visionary approach distinguishes TMC as a catalyst for cultivating effective leadership skills.

The essence of TMC lies in its ability to facilitate cross-disciplinary interactions, enabling members to hone their presentation, interactive, and soft skills essential for effective leadership. By bridging the gap between different professional domains, TMC offers invaluable opportunities for members to glean insights into various business operations, network with seasoned leaders, and ultimately enhance their leadership effectiveness.

Join us at The Management Club and embark on a journey of professional growth, collaboration, and transformation.
