TMC has unveiled its new Board of Management (BOM) for 2026/27, with a renewed focus on membership growth, economic development, strategic partnerships and stronger engagement with Sri Lanka’s business community.
The new leadership team was appointed at the Annual General Meeting held on Monday, 24 August 2026, at the Aspen Room, Cinnamon Grand Colombo. The AGM was attended by members and senior figures of the organisation, including President Emeritus Fayaz Saleem, marking a new chapter for TMC while reinforcing continuity and institutional experience.
Roger Talayaratne assumed the Presidency, supported by Chandima Vidath Bandara Hulangamuwa as First Vice President. The new administration will be further guided by an Advisory Committee comprising Fayaz Saleem, Murali Prakash, Jude Manoharan, Nasser Majeed and Chaminda De Silva, bringing together extensive experience and institutional knowledge.
The 2026/27 BOM includes Shanthi Bhagirathan as VP Administration, Kamaya Perera as VP Finance, Chaya Ranaweera as VP Media and Legal Affairs, Dr. Pradeep Edward as VP Membership Development, and Kaushal Rajapakse as Immediate Past President and Chair of Economic Development Programs. The Board is further supported by Deepal Abeysekera overseeing Sponsor Management and Development, Viraj Senanayeka handling Club Operations, Samitha Seneviratne responsible for Club Print Media Coordination, and Dr. Madu leading Membership Growth and On-Boarding.
TMC’s club network is represented by Club Chair – CMB and Event Coordination Duneeshya Bogoda, Club Chair – MTL Shalutha Samarathunge, and Club Chair – Jaffna Dr. Chandrakumar.
The new administration is set to strengthen TMC’s role as a platform for business connectivity, professional engagement, economic dialogue and opportunity creation, while expanding membership and strategic partnerships.
The AGM marked more than a change of leadership, signalling TMC’s commitment to building on its foundations, broadening its reach and delivering greater value and impact to its members and Sri Lanka’s wider business community.
