‘TMC Valentine Party’ organised by The Management Club Colombo

‘TMC Valentine Party’ organised by The Management Club of Colombo was held on Saturday, 12 February from 7 p.m. onwards at the Ballroom, Wonder Hotel, Colombo 3 with around 50 guests in attendance, subject to COVID-19 health and safety regulations. 

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Pradeep Edward. He took the opportunity to thank Ceylon Jewellery Manufacturers – the main sponsor for the event, and the other sponsors that included Berjaya Hotel, Hemas Hospitals PLC, xoxo.lk, Quattro lino, and Free Lanka, for their generosity in making the event a reality. 

The live band for the evening provided entertainment to a filled dance floor of guests. Intermittent activities such as the selection of winners for Jive, Salsa, Baila, Valentine’s King, Valentine’s Queen, winners of the dancing competition among gents and ladies also took place with the active participation of members and guests. Raffle draw had five winners and the overall winner was offered a one-night stay including breakfast at Berjaya Hotel. TMC Queen won a luxury ring sponsored by Ceylon Jewellery Manufacturers. 

Project Director Duneeshya Bogoda requested the members and their guests to participate at the next entertainment event of TMC Colombo, ‘TMC Aurudu Calypso Night’ scheduled to be held in April 2022. This was an event to coincide with TMC’s 20th anniversary.
