TMC Kalutara Founder Chairman Shirley Perera passes away

It is with profound sorrow, we inform the entire TMC Membership of the sad passing away of TMC Kalutara Chairman Dr Shirley Perera, who was the first Chairman of TMC Kalutara when it was inaugurated.

Late Shirley also represented The Management Club (TMC ) Kalutara on the Board of Management for two years.

Late Shirley served the Lions movement as well, as a member of the Lions Club of Panadura, he went on to serve in many roles in his rise to become a unanimously elected District Governor District 306 A1 in 2006.He led the district with efficiency and dynamism.

Late Shirley was a banker by profession having had an illustrious career, serving organisations such as Peoples Bank, Mercantile Credit, Arpico Finance, and Merchant Credit of Sri Lanka(as Managing Director).

During his later years, he was again invited to serve a few other reputed organisations, which he did so admirably well.
