TMC Jaffna AGM 2025 celebrated in style with community leaders and professionals

The Management Club (TMC) Jaffna marked the successful completion of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 and Mid-Year Dinner on Friday, 11 July, at J Hotels, Pungankulam Road. The evening brought together an impressive gathering of Northern Province’s most respected leaders, professionals, and changemakers.

The AGM, held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on the hotel rooftop, was graced by the presence of the Governor of Northern Province, the Government Agent of Jaffna, prominent bankers, academics, industrialists, exporters, lawyers, and social activists.

Charter Chairman Revd N. Jameson Gnanaponrajah opened the session with a warm welcome, followed by key reports presented by Siva Sukirtharuban (Secretary), Anu Rakavan (Chairman), and Gokulashankar Suriyakumar (Treasurer). New office bearers were elected, promising a fresh wave of leadership and vision for the year ahead.

The event’s highlights included inspiring speeches by special guests such as Northern Province Governor Nagalingam Vedanayagam, TMC Board of Management President Elect Roger Talayaratne, and TMC Board of Management President Indhra Kaushal Rajapaksa. The club also recognised outstanding contributions to the health and hospitality sectors, honouring Dr. S. Chandrakumar, Dr. P. Keshavarajah, and Ugabalasingam Akilan.

Following the official proceedings, the AGM Dinner commenced in a vibrant, relaxed setting. Guests, dressed in smart casual and formal attire, shared ideas and networked over a sumptuous meal, reinforcing the club’s spirit of camaraderie and collaboration.
