The Management Club (TMC) – Colombo Chapter presents “The Way Forward on ‘Strategic manoeuvring in tough times – Live or Lead!’, an inspiring knowledge-sharing session scheduled for Thursday, 27 November at 6 p.m. onwards at the Atrium Lobby, Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo.
The ‘Way Forward’ initiative, spearheaded by Project Chairperson and EXCO Member Mahesh Senanayake, provides a platform for top leaders in the corporate sector to share their experiences and insights, fostering knowledge enhancement and professional development among business professionals.
The keynote speaker for the evening will be Ravi Jayawardana, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Maliban Group of Companies, which comprises of Maliban Biscuits Ltd., Maliban Milk Ltd., and Maliban Agro Ltd.
Prior to his current role, Jayawardana served as Country Head of Sales at Coca-Cola Sri Lanka, where he successfully led his team to win multiple Asian and African Best Practice Awards. He was also among 25 top marketers selected by Coca-Cola’s global network to develop the Marketing Blueprint for Coca-Cola South Africa (Port Elizabeth Division). In this powerful session, Jayawardana will share his expertise on navigating business challenges, leading with purpose, and strategically manoeuvring through uncertain times — offering real-world lessons on what it takes to lead rather than merely survive. The 40-minute session will conclude with an engaging Q&A segment, providing participants the opportunity to interact directly with the speaker.
This event is open to both members and guests, with a participation fee of Rs. 3,000 per person (Members) and Rs. 3,500 (Non-Members), inclusive of snacks.
