TMC Colombo joint project with Lion’s Club Nawala Scoliosis Awareness Program

The Management Club of Colombo conducted a joint project with the Lions Club Nawala Scoliosis Awareness Program on 16 September in Colombo.

Project Director Dr. Nilmini Withana said: “We have conducted a few successful scoliosis awareness programs and the purpose of this project was to support children suffering scoliosis and create awareness among the public. We have been conducting this project for several years and this marks our 10th year. Through this program we provide knowledge to the community and thereby increase awareness on scoliosis. Since this project coincides with our 10th anniversary, plans are underway to conduct a scoliosis walkathon in November 2023.”

TMC Chairman Dr. Pradeep Edward said: “We as a professional organisation would like to support the community and conduct this project under our CSR initiatives,” adding that as TMC “they should be involved in such valuable humanitarian programs.”
