TMC Colombo Annual General Meeting was held on 24 August 2026 at 6.30 p.m. onwards at Ebony Hall Cinnamon Grand Hotel Colombo.and Duneeshya Bogoda was reappointed as the Chairperson of TMC Colombo for the year 2026/2027.
Bogoda presented a summary of the achievements of the year 2025/2026.
During her address at the AGM she presented a summary of the work carried out for 25/26. TMC Colombo has successfully conducted 13 events, including a CSR project, and held 13 Executive Committee meetings throughout the year. Under her leadership, the club welcomed 33 new members, strengthening the TMC Colombo membership base. She also highlighted that all projects conducted during the year generated reasonable income for TMC Colombo and were well attended too which contributed to their successful completion.
Following her reappointment as Chairperson for the year 2026/2027, Bogoda expressed her sincere gratitude to the membership for placing their trust in her once again. She also presented her plans and vision for the upcoming year.
The proposed program includes a Business Networking Mixer, Power Breakfast Session, “The Way Forward” session, TMC Golf Day, an AI Workshop for university students, CEO Forum, Women in Leadership Forum, Whisky Tasting Session, and several other initiatives aimed at creating meaningful opportunities for networking, learning and fellowship among TMC members.
She extended her best wishes to the newly appointed Executive Committee and expressed confidence in their collective ability to make the coming year even more successful.
Bogoda concluded by expressing her belief that 2026/2027 will be an even stronger and more impactful year for TMC Colombo, with greater opportunities to connect, grow, inspire and celebrate together.
Chairperson/ Imme.Past Chairperson 2025/2026 Duneeshya Bogoda
She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from PIM, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, a B.A. from the University of Kelaniya. A versatile entrepreneur and business consultant, she founded Dunee’s Kitchen, DUNEEB, VIP Counselling, The Match Lounge and 4D Events. She also serves as the International Project Director at DittRich FZLLC, Dubai, and works as a relationship counsellor and consultant.
She has also been a member of the TMC Board of Management since 2023. She is a member of Lions Clubs International and serves as Secretary of the Lions Club of Colombo Ceylon Excellence.
Vice Chairman Samitha Senevirathne
He holds a BSc in Natural Sciences from the University of Colombo and a MBA from Ireland. He is a certified member of SLIM and holds a diploma in International Relations from BCIS. Currently, he is a shareholding Director of IMS Ltd. and Serendib Natural Products Ltd., with over 30 years of experience in industrial chemicals marketing and formulation development. He is a Past President and Secretary of the Rotary Club of Colombo Down Town and currently serves as the Executive President of the Ananda College Old Boys’ Association (2026/27).
Secretary Dr. Saliya Balasooriya
He holds a PhD in Economics, an MSc, a Postgraduate Diploma, and a BA Special Degree in Economics (Hons). He is the current Vice President of the Sri Lanka Economic Association and a former Director of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He is a Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS), OPA, Society for International Development Sri Lanka Chapter, and the Automobile Association of Ceylon. He is also a charter member of the Lions Club Gampaha Radiance.
Treasurer Priyantha Hapuarachchi
He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is currently the Director/CEO of Master Divers Ltd. and CEO of Pelwatte Coconut Industries Ltd. He has held senior roles in leading corporations and is a Past President of the Sri Lanka–Russia Business Council.

Dr. Ayesh De Silva
He is the President and Managing Director of Ayesh Associates. He holds a PhD in Law, LL.B., LL.M., MSc, and several international professional certifications including I.L.E.C., Ex. Dip. in Disaster Management, and CELTA. He has over a decade of experience in the legal profession and organisational leadership. He is the Charter President and current President (2021–2025/2026) of the Lions Club of Colombo Ceylon Excellence. For Rotary year 2025–2026, he has been appointed as District Governor’s Special Representative for New Club Extension and Membership Chair of Rotary International District 3220 – Sri Lanka and Maldives.
Deputy Treasurer Sajitha De Mel
He is a Platinum Member of the Management Club with over 20 years of experience in the Freight & Logistics industry. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Cargoserv Shipping Ltd., a Ceyline Group company, and as a Board Director of Meltrans Ltd. A recipient of the TOYP Award in 2010 and recognised as a Young Achiever in Logistics in 2019, He is a Graduate Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors. He is a Paul Harris Fellow, former Region Chairman of Lions Clubs International District 306C2, Founder President of BNI Crown Chapter.
Mahesh Senanayake - ExCo Member
He brings nearly 22 years of experience in media, communication, and marketing. He is the Founder/Director of Big Smile Voyages (DMC) and Digimonde (New age communications firm). He holds an MBA (Australia), MABE (UK), and CIM (UK) qualifications and is currently following an M.Phil. in business economics at the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. He is a former rugby player, referee and presently a match commissioner of Sri Lanka Rugby.
Ranjith Fernando - ExCo Member
He holds a B.Com. from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. He served as the President of the Sri Lanka Association of Printers and was also the District Governor of Lions District 306C2 (2024/25).Ranjith began his career in banking, at People’s Bank and later at Seylan Bank, After 25 years in banking, he transitioned to the printing and packaging industry,
Gayathri Wickramasinghe ExCo Member
She counts over 22 years of professional experience in Executive Secretarial, in Sports Administration and currently working as a Marketing & HR Consultant. She is also currently the Club Secretary of the Lions Club of Gothatuwa-New Century. currently pursuing an Executive MSc in Digital Marketing.
Dr. Chatura Wijesuriya – ExCo Member
He is a senior HR and Management professional with over 40 years of experience across several leading industries in Sri Lanka. He currently provides strategic HR and management consultancy through Vivid Solutions.
Janek Jayasekara – ExCo Member
He is the CEO of International Distillers Limited (IDL) who counts over 25 years of experience across diverse industries. He holds a BSc in Biological Science and an MSc in Accountancy and Finance. He is a qualified Chartered and Management Accountant. He also holds several board and professional leadership positions in Private sector organisations.
