Indhra Kaushal Rajapaksa was recently appointed as the new President of the Board of Management of The Management Club (TMC).

He is a Fellow of the Plastics and Rubber Institute, Fellow of the chartered Management Institute UK, holds a MBA in Business Management.

He is the Immediate Past President of Plastics and Rubber Institute as well as the Chartered Management Institute, Vice President of Confederation of Small and Medium Industries (COSMI), Vice President of the Board of Management of The Management Club, Vice President of National Chamber Exporters, Executive Committee Member of SLAMERP, Executive Committee Member of Institute of Environment Professionals (IEPSL) and Chairman of Minuwangoda Industrial Association.

He is also an Executive Committee member of Singapore, China Business Council and Vice President of Pakistan business council. He is also Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Industries for the Polymer Product Manufacturing Sector.

Kaushal possesses a wealth of experience in the private sector working for the tire and footwear industries and for the government sector at the task force for rebuilding the nation handling rehabilitation of livelihood of the people affected by Tsunami in 2004. Since 2007 Kaushal ventured into his own business namely Kalhari Group of companies of exporting industrial waste rubber and carried out the processing and supplying of metal pieces for rubber tracks manufacturing to a leading International Company.

Kaushal is also into the leisure boat chartering and manufacturing industry serving as the Group Managing Director of Sea Leisure Yachting Group Ltd.  Kaushal is the Immediate Past District Governor of Lions District 306B2.
