Over 230 kids enjoyed the magic of the season inside Santa’s kitchen at Cinnamon Grand’s popular Santa’s Workshop, held for the seventh consecutive year.
Leaving behind gadgets and addictive technologies, the kids donned aprons and chef’s hats and followed the instructions of Santa’s special chefs working part time at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
With experts guiding them step-by-step through the making of some of their favourite treats such as pizzas, brownies and waffles, the kids got their hands busy decorating the food items to suit the festive mood.
Pizzas with baubles of coloured corn with generous doses of sausages and cheese, large Christmas tree brownies with peppermint stick trunks and waffles decorated with smarties, chocolate chips, jujubes and marshmallows were all part of their fun activities. A beautiful mason jar cookie holder was also made by the kids.
A special edible picture cake with the faces of each kid was also given away as a surprise gift. Santa and Mrs. Claus with their able helper elves ensured that the kids had the utmost fun within the three-hour time frame.
The Cinnamon Grand’s teams from departments across the hotel joined forces in recreating the magic of Santa’s special kitchen, crafting an enchanted Christmas experience for kids.
