Promising a highly effective and refreshing skincare experience, The Body Shop recently launched its all new vegan Vitamin E range in Sri Lanka which is packed with powerful ingredients for radiant skin.

The Body Shop’s Vitamin E infused range now available in Sri Lanka includes a day cream, night cream, cleanser, facial wash, sleeping mask and serum. The standout product in the range is its moisturising cream providing a remarkable 38% increase in skin hydration for 8 hours.

The Body Shop South Asia Retail and Operations Vice President Vishal Chaturvedi who visited Sri Lanka for the launch said, “Vitamin E has been one of our top ranges for the past 40 years or so. From an ingredient perspective, a lot of research has gone into the development process of these products. What is exciting is the new formulation that has come into the picture. We have completed it for the range and from a product perspective, it is a very powerful antioxidant that makes your skin feel much brighter and more refreshed.”

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects and hydrates skin, leaving it refreshed and plumped. The Body Shop’s Vitamin E range, which is suited for all skin types, will therefore deeply nourish the skin, preserving natural moisture and preventing dehydration by replenishing the outer layer.

The new formula also includes hyaluronic acid from wheat and corn, which increases skin elasticity by keeping it plump and hydrated. It is further enriched with raspberry seed oil from up-cycled cold-pressed raspberries, known to be rich in Vitamin E. Proving The Body Shop’s commitment to sustainability, ethical production and helping the planet, the raspberry seed oil is sourced for the product by collecting, drying and cold-pressing raspberry seeds leftover from the juice industry, which would otherwise go to waste. Its packaging also includes recyclable packaging made from recycled materials.

Commenting on the Sri Lankan market, Chaturvedi further said, “Sri Lanka is a very important market for The Body Shop. At the time of our launch here, it was very exciting and even though there was some disruption in the market, we are now seeing a steady growth. So we are really focusing on getting back to what we were doing in 2019, offering the full range of products. While there was some import restrictions due to the economic situation of the country, slowly all our products are coming back. The market is growing steadily.”

He also revealed plans of creating a The Body Shop omnichannel in Sri Lanka. The new beauty range is also expected to contribute to this growth in the brand due to its many benefits and effectiveness.

The Body Shop Sri Lanka’s Vitamin E product range is available at The Body Shop flagship store on Bagatalle Road, Odel in Alexandra Place, the Kandy City Centre, and at the Colombo City Centre.
