Event from 27 February to 1 March at Green Path to celebrate culture, community and collaboration

The highly anticipated Salam Ramadan 2026 took a major step forward today with the successful Stall Holders’ Final Briefing held at the Cinnamon Grand, the official host hotel for the festival.

The session saw an impressive participation of over 120 stall holders, reflecting the strong enthusiasm and momentum building towards what promises to be one of the most vibrant Ramadan cultural festivals in Colombo.

Participants were briefed on event operations, visitor experience, cultural programming, and collaboration opportunities, ensuring a seamless and enriching festival environment for all attendees.

Salam Ramadan 2026 from 27 February to 1 March at Green Path, Colombo 7 from 5.00 p.m. onwards, will showcase a diverse range of offerings, from succulent traditional and international culinary experiences to trade stalls, artisan products, and curated cultural showcases that celebrate the spirit of Ramadan.

Adding a truly global dimension to the festival, participation and support from the Turkish, Oman. Iranian embassies. highlight the event’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange and strengthening community ties through shared traditions and heritage.

The meeting concluded with a warm networking session and a grand Iftar, graciously hosted by Cinnamon Grand, whose continued partnership and hospitality play a key role in supporting this landmark community initiative.

Salam Ramadan, supported by Western Provincial Council and the Colombo Municipal Council, continues to position itself as a platform that brings together communities, cultures, and businesses in the true spirit of harmony, reflection, and celebration.
