Love story at Taj Samudra this Valentine’s Day

This February, Taj Samudra, Colombo is geared to celebrate Valentine’s Day in its grandeur, with a Valentine’s Dinner at the Ports of Call, YUMI – Japanese Resto Bar, Golden Dragon and Navratna, on the romantic night of 14 February from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

It is that season of Cupid’s arrow and restaurants will have Valentine’s season in style on 14 February offering a range of goodies and personalised offerings. All set to fall in love with the romantic atmosphere make a “Love-go around” to be indulged in February, for guests who go for a touch of luxury and grandeur. 

Romance and elegance combined! An exquisite Buffet Dinner is on offer for guests on 14 February from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Taj Samudra Ports of Call in a relaxed setting with live entertainment by Shani De Livera. This menu is complemented with fresh oysters, sushi, sashimi, tempura, a wide selection of cold cuts, terrines, seafood, salad bar and cheeses. Dim sums, Chinese style crabs and meats grill, array of seafood display to select with a choice of dressings, Sri Lankan delicacies, Indian favourites like kebabs, mutton biryani, nargisi kofta will be in the extravagant international buffet at the Ports of Call on Valentine’s Day. A scrumptious dining experience will be curated by the culinary skills of our chefs and from the best ingredients sourced adhering to the highest standards of quality that we consistently sustain. 

YUMI will feature a DJ in attendance from 9:30 p.m. onwards. Exciting concoctions and special deals on beverages will be on the cards. Authentic Indian delicacies by Indians chefs, will be available at Navratna. Relish the wholesome Indian cuisine and signature crab delicacies at the newly launched “Crab Factory”! At the Navratna, Verandah seating will be available for romantic dining experience during dinner. 

From 7 February onwards The Lattice – lobby lounge will offer specialty cakes, cookies, and boxes of chocolates. English Afternoon Tea Charlie will be on the cards during the week from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Lattice with Piano entertainment.
