Lassana Innovations takes authentic Sri Lankan flavours to the world with ‘Treats of Ceylon’ range of cookies

A fully owned subsidiary of Lassana.com Ltd., Lassana Innovations Ltd. recently launched ‘Treats of Ceylon’, an exclusive brand of premium quality cookies, blending authentic, traditional Sri Lankan flavours with unique tastes loved by discerning food lovers around the world.

These high-end, export quality gifting cookies are made using the finest of Sri Lankan spices such as Ceylon cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, mace and other flavours, based recipes collectively developed by teams of local and international experts.

Signifying the launch, Lassana.com Chairman/MD Dr. Lasantha Malavige handed the first batch of ‘Treats of Ceylon’ cookies to Commercial Bank MD/CEO Sanath Manathunge recently.

Lassana Innovations has introduced three variants of scrumptious cookies under the ‘Treats of Ceylon’ brand, each based on the wholesome key ingredients of ginger, spice and cinnamon respectively. These freshly baked cookies come with the mouth-watering taste of freshness, irresistible aroma of spices and all the preserved health benefits of Sri Lankan spices.

All products are manufactured at a state-of-the-art-facility, using the best ingredients sourced from local farmers and the production process adheres to the most rigorous international quality standards, making ‘Treats of Ceylon’ products truly international in every sense. The products will be primarily exported to Middle East, USA, Europe and Australian markets and will be locally available through all leading supermarket chains around the country. Also, the ‘Treats of Ceylon’ range will soon be available in a retail shop at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
